Abbeygate Sixth Form College
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Abbeygate Sixth Form College in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk was a new build construction. With its bright colours and large areas it really stands out. We used Johnstones Trade Acrylic Durable Matt and with its Class 1 scrubbability makes it a must use on such projects with their high traffic areas. This was our first of many projects working alongside Wates Construction.

Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
The Interventional Radiology Unit and the new 3 floor Modular Wards project at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital were completed for MTX Contracts.

It is the heart of Norwich City and its ever growing surrounding towns and villages. With this new ward development, it makes the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital even more adapt for its ever growing surroundings.
We completed these works right in the middle of the Covid-19 outbreak. This brought its own challenges which we over came and handed the project over... -
West Suffolk Hospital
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
West Suffolk Hospitals Rapid Assessment Treatment Unit in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk was another project carried out with Barnes Construction.

It was completed using Johnstones Trade Microbarr Anti-Bacterial Acrylic Eggshell. This project was done on a very quick, tight timeline. The works needed to be done in a very timely manner which we achieved and delivered with no issues. -
Lexden Springs Residential and Special School
Location: Colchester, Essex
Lexden Springs Residential and Special School in Colchester, Essex was our first project with Morgan Sindall Construction.

It was a unique school with three separate residential blocks for students and carers. This is now a 210-place school, with 30 places for boarding accommodation this has doubled their capacity.
The materials used on this was Johnstones Trade Acrylic Durable Matt, a perfect paint finish for high traffic areas. -
Ramsden Hall Academy
Location: Billericay, Essex
Ramsden Hall Academy School in Billericay Essex is our eighth project working alongside Morgan Sindall Construction continuing our close working relationship.

This consisted of predominately new build works and some refurbishment works to the existing building.
New works included a brand new three-storey residential block which will provide beds for 40 students, seven new classrooms, seven new withdrawal rooms, a learning resource centre, main assembly hall, dining hall, conference room and... -
The Bridge School
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
The Bridge School in Ipswich Suffolk was another project working alongside Morgan Sindall Construction. This was made up of 2 phases. The main school works with some refurbishment areas and then later a new ‘admin block’. This was a Dulux project using Dulux Trade Diamond Matt to walls and Diamond Satinwood to woodwork offering the highest level of durability, essential for such buildings.

Omega Diagnostics Group
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Omega Diagnostics Group in Ely Cambridgeshire was a project completed for Collins Construction. This was a brand new facility including offices, laboratories, warehouses, cold rooms, testing labs and working areas. We used Johnstones Trade Cova Plus Vinyl Matt and Watco floor paint for the warehouse and loading bay floors.

Sybil Andrews Academy
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Sybil Andrews Academy in Bury St Edmund's Suffolk was our first project for Barnes Construction. It was an additional building added on to the existing school. It consisted of classrooms, toilets and staff offices which increased the capacity by 1200 pupils!

NHS Distribution Centre
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
NHS Distribution Centre in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk was another fast paced project requiring around the clock labour in order to hand over to the NHS as soon as possible. It consisted of main warehouse, offices, staff changing rooms, a medical room, transport offices and a canteen.

Holiday Inn, Kensington
Location: London
The Holiday Inn Hotel in Kensington, London was a large refurbishment project with lots of vinyl wallpapering to all meeting rooms. This was done ‘out of hours’ ensuring the busy meeting rooms where never out of action.

‘CRUK' was a project working alongside Coulson Building Group. This was a large refurbishment project consisting of Labs, Offices and meeting rooms.

The Lighthouse Project
Location: Ipswich
The Lighthouse Project in Ipswich Suffolk is a Woman’s refuge. This was a charitable project. We were approached by Morgan Sindall and asked if we would supply the materials and labour for the renovation of three communal kitchens. We were happy to offer our services as this is a very worthy cause. The kitchens were finished in a nice crisp bright white cleanable finish.

Beeches Residential Home

It previously had very dated wallpaper and dark wood on the stairs and throughout. We stripped off the old wallpaper, made good of the walls and finished it all off with a nice light coloured paint.
